We'd like to thank the parents and grandparents who generously gave of their time to come to school for Holiday craft "parties." Your presence means more to the kids and teachers than you can possibly know! Without you, these activities would not be possible-- nor would they be as much fun. Thank you!
Ranger's Annual
Breakfast With Santa
(also"Holiday Breakfast")
from an email dated 12.12.09... "Dear B.W.S. Elves, Thank you so much for the wonderful breakfast! My kids had a really good time and ate a lot. (Those grill-cooks were awesome.) "
IMHO, Breakfast With Santa was the perfect gift for parents. Whole families were treated to all-you-could-eat pancakes, sausage, juice and milk while music played and Santa sat onstage awaiting his young visitors. While grown-ups relaxed w/ their coffee, kids ate with friends and had a safe place to play, explore, make crafts, or pick out cookies to take home. This year, the cookies were pretty spectacular.
This team (and their families) always do great work. Kim, Jennifer, Kelly, Laura, Karen, and a nice lady pouring juice non-stop (whose name I don't know) were helped by lots of other helpers who pitched in as needed.
BTW, who was that TALL grill cook? He sure looked familiar.
